Need:
– 11×17 paper
– foam poster board or felt board
– velcro
– laminater

Participation Age Range: 18 months to 8 years old

Method: Print the monster pieces. In the sample depicted, it was chosen to laminate the pieces and add velcro to the pieces. Another option is to use the printed pieces as a template to create felt pieces. May choose to have viewers act along with actions: touching specific body parts, making silly face, etc.

Inspired the semi-traditional: Snowman Magic Prop Story

Need:
– 2 manila envelopes OR 2 11×17 construction paper
– paper to print the pdf document listed below
– hot glue to assemble the double envelopes
– black marker
– scissors

Participation Age Range: 18 months to 8 years old

Method: Hide the vampire in the hidden section of the double envelope. Use your hand to keep that section closed when the envelope is turned upside-down for the kids to see it is empty.
