Words and Actions by CK Emanuel
Based on the Tune of: The Ants Go Marching

The bugs go creeping one by one, hurrah, hurrah
The bugs go creeping one by one, hurrah, hurrah
The bugs go creeping one by one
the caterpillar is having fun
And they all go creeping down to the ground
To get out of the sun, Hot! Hot! Hot!

The bugs go crawling two by two, hurrah, hurrah
The bugs go crawling two by two, hurrah, hurrah
The bugs go crawling two by two
the beetles stopped to have a chew
And they all go crawling down to the ground
To get out of the sun, Hot! Hot! Hot!

The bugs go marching three by three, hurrah, hurrah
The bugs go marching three by three, hurrah, hurrah
The bugs go marching three by three
the ants went around a tree
And they all go marching down to the ground
To get out of the sun, Hot! Hot! Hot!

The bugs go hopping four by four, hurrah, hurrah
The bugs go hopping four by four, hurrah, hurrah
The bugs go hopping four by four
the crickets chirped a note and more
And they all go hopping down to the ground
To get out of the sun, Hot! Hot! Hot!

The bugs go swooping five by five, hurrah, hurrah
The bugs go swooping five by five, hurrah, hurrah
The bugs go swooping five by five
the flyers did a downward dive
And they all go swooping down to the ground
To get out of the sun, Hot! Hot! Hot!

Witch.Frankenstein.ckeMonsters knocked the city down
Sung to: Michael Rowed the Boat Ashore
Written by: CK Emanuel

Chorus:
Monsters roamed throughout the town
MAKE CLAWS WITH HANDS AND A SCARY FACE
POINT AND MOVE HAND AS IF FOLLOWING IMAGINARY MONSTERS
On Halloween night
HANDS OVERHEAD MOVING FROM ONE SIDE TO THE OTHER
MAKE A CIRCLE OVERHEAD FOR THE MOON
Monsters roamed throughout the town
On Halloween night

Verses:
Frankie stomped an entire block, On Halloween Night
STOMP IN PLACE
Frankie stomped an entire block, On Halloween Night

Werewolves dug up every yard, On Halloween Night
MOVE HANDS AS IF DIGGING
Werewolves dug up every yard, On Halloween Night

Mummies wrapped up all the trees, On Halloween Night
MOVE FIST IN CIRCLE AS IF WRAPPING
Mummies wrapped up all the trees, On Halloween Night

Ghosts slimed through every doorway, On Halloween Night
SLIDE HANDS DOWNWARDS WIGGLING FINGERS
Ghosts slimed through every doorway, On Halloween Night

Witches stole all the broomsticks, On Halloween Night
MOVE HAND QUICKLY IN UPWARD ARC
Witches stole all the broomsticks, On Halloween Night

Vampires took the city bus, On Halloween Night
MOVE HANDS AS IF GRASPING A Steering WHEEL
Vampires took the city bus, On Halloween Night

Pumpkins glowed a toothy grin, On Halloween Night
USE HANDS TO TRACE A SMILE
Pumpkins glowed a toothy grin, On Halloween Night

No more pigs rolling in mud.”

Vegetable: Fingerplay or Action Activity

A Vegetable in Autumn
By CK Emanuel

I’ve grown, grown, grown,
START HANDS TOGETHER, SPREAD FARTHER AND FARTHER APART
Till I am fat, fat, fat,
PAT BELLY
Pick me, pluck me,
POINT TO GROUND AT IMAGINARY VEGETABLE
MAKE MOTION AS IF PULLING FROM PLANT
Cook me, eat me,
MAKE A CIRCLE WITH FIST  AS IF USING A SPOON TO     STIR A  FRYING PAN.
BRING HANDS TO MOUTH AS IF EATING
Or I’ll rot, rot, rot!
DROP SHOULDERS, SLOUCH, AND MAKE A SAD FACE

Military: Action Activity

A Soldier May
Text and Actions by C.K. Emanuel

A soldier may march,
MARCH IN PLACE
A soldier may swim,
ARMS MAKE SWIMMING MOTIONS WITH ARMS, KICK TO THE SIDE
A soldier may climb,
MAKE FISTS, REACH ONE OVERHEAD THEN THE OTHER AS IF CLIMBING
A soldier may fly,
ARMS OUT TO SIDES LIKE PLANE
A soldier might jump
JUMP IN PLACE
And then whoosh goes their parachute
RAISE ARMS OVERHEAD, THEN SPREAD OUT TO SIDES
And gently down they fall.
FALL TO THE GROUND
A soldier may march.
MARCH IN PLACE
