Story: 5 Green and Speckled Frogs
Traditional Words

Need:
– Felt: various shades of brown, white, green, black, yellow, orange, blue
– A felt board
– Hot glue gun and hot glue sticks
– Fabric paint: green and black

Participation Age Range: 6 months to 6 years old

Method: Put all felt pieces on the board to make a small pond.
Be sure to have all the frogs sitting on the log in the beginning.
As the songs progresses, move the frogs into the water.

Possible action words include:
Numbers: Kids may count along on fingers.
Yum Yum: Rub tummy
Jumped: Fist rests on opposite arm as if frog on a log before “jumping” off.

1 jumped into the pool where it was nice and cool
Then there were 4 green and speckled frogs.

4 green and speckled frogs sat on a speckled log
