Hero / Sidekick: Fingerplay

One Superhero
Text Adapted By C.K. Emanuel
Based on “One Little Bird”

There was one superhero in a big city.
HANDS AT WAIST; HANDS SPREAD FAR APART
He was all alone, and he didn’t want to be.
HOLD UP ONE FINGER ; SHAKE HEAD FROM SIDE TO SIDE
So up he flew, and went far, far away
RAISE ARMS OVERHEAD; GESTURE TOWARDS DISTANCE
And brought back a sidekick to help save the day.
CURVE HAND DOWNWARDS TO CHEST;  HANDS AT WAIST

There was one little bird in a little tree,
He was all alone, and he didn’t want to be.
So he flew far away, over the sea,
And brought back a friend to live in the tree.
